Rates & Bills

Price Stability:  Effective July 1, 2019, program participants will pay fixed rates for electricity.1

Participation:  All eligible residents and small commercial electricity customers are automatically enrolled. You do not need to take any action to enroll. Should you not wish to participate, you may opt out of the program before June 14th. Those who opt out will continue to receive electricity supply from NYSEG. After the program launches, customers may cancel service at any time without incurring cancellation fees or penalties. 2

Standard Option:  If you wish to participate in the program, but don’t want 100% renewable energy by default, you may still obtain a fixed rate by choosing Standard Supply.

1. There's no guarantee that the CCA fixed rate will be lower than the monthly variable Central Hudson rate in a given month or over the life of the program.
2. Assistance Program Participants (APPs), time of use customers, and those who have selected an alternate supplier will not automatically enrolled.
3. Average weighted monthly variable Central Hudson supply for previous 12 months, April 2018-March 2019.
4. Does not include Gross Receipts Tax (GRT). If applicable, GRT will be applied to your bill.
